This is a very inspiring vision! I wonder how this very american/western business model works in a "third world" application where the education is minimal, and reading skills are not the learning style. (This is not a criticism, so please bear with me.) Our focus in Activation International Ministries is to go to the rural and less educated pastor and bring foundational Biblical training to those who don't have the opportunity because of poverty or low level education. Have you taken in to consideration the hundreds of oral cultures in the world where people learn best by hearing and not by reading? I am very encouraged by this vision because I too share the passion and the call of reaching every nation, tongue and tribe! I wonder if there are ways we can compliment each others ministry? I would love to know more.

Great guestions.
This will take me some time. Im just a carpenter (I hope A carpenter starting churches is allright with you) I will start with this one. "How viable is your house church format and is it reproducable?" viability & simple reproduction are esential to any thing I do . from Evangelism, deiscipleship to a church.

Craig, thanks for your comment and your passion in reaching lost people. Apparently, those existing churches are not viable for reaching their community. The Lord has raised you up for your community, and that is awesome. Keep it up, brother!

These would be my questions for you or others in a similar situation. Knowing nothing of your context, I will stay general:

How sustainable is your effort in terms of length of time, quality and ability to grow the house church? How viable is your house church format and is it reproducable? I would ask the same questions of any new church: traditional, non-traditional, etc.

Are the existing churches potential partners of yours? Can God use you to revitalize them or show them how to reach the community?

Are the people in your 'house church' (my term) catching a vision for reaching their neighbors? Can they replicate (humanly speaking) what they have experienced?

Are you taking this group through the question you raised "Is this church?" Are the other biblical elements of church - leadership, elders, offerings to give to those in need, sense of the body working, discipleship, mission becoming a part of the group's experience, or moving in those directions?

Craig, the Lord bless you and your household.

Yes there are three churches and then some down the street from me. But most of the people I'm reaching out to would never go near them. But they will come to my house for dinner, discusion, prayer, worship, comunion and get baptized in the pool next door. Is this chuch.

I am so much impressed with what Vision 360 is offering to the nations;purposely in the context of the local church.Otherwise God bless and continue to expand the boundaries of the vision 360 organization to nature many to the field ministry.

An awesome explanation of church planting. The quote churches today have lost sight of what the Church is there for ...It gets so political and legalistic until making sure everyone knows who God and Jesus Christ is and what he came and died for. Right in the front door of the churches there are folks dying without God. My heart aches .....God bless you.

Well said. Everyone needs to be brought back to the big picture of why we do what we do, and Who we serve.
